Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a talented Junior Underwriter to join our dynamic underwriting team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the insurance industry and contribute to our company’s success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist experienced underwriters in the underwriting process, including reviewing applications, assessing risks, and pricing policies.
  • Process applications and issue policy documentation.
  • Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
  • Assist with the preparation of underwriting reports and statistics.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of underwriting processes.
  • Support ad-hoc projects as required.

Requirements:

  • Strong academic background, ideally with a degree in a relevant subject (e.g., business, finance, insurance).
  • A keen interest in insurance and a desire to develop a career in underwriting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
