Discover Altrincham: A Journey Through Time is a Visit Altrincham initiative, supported by UK Government funding, that brings the story of the town centre to life – from its agricultural beginnings and medieval trading roots, right through to World War I.
The self-guided 10-stop Altrincham Heritage Town Trail starts at Altrincham Interchange and finishes at Goose Green, taking in iconic landmarks including Old Market Place, St George’s Church, Altrincham Town Hall and Altrincham Market.
Whether you’re discovering Altrincham for the first time or seeing it with fresh eyes, it’s a brilliant way to step back in time while exploring the town we know today.
