About Us
Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a talented Compliance Assistant to support our Senior Compliance Manager in ensuring regulatory compliance and maintaining a robust risk management framework. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to our company’s success and gain valuable experience in the financial services industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of compliance policies, procedures, and controls.
- Conduct regular reviews of existing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide support in monitoring and reporting on compliance activities.
- Assist in the preparation of regulatory filings and submissions.
- Assist in the management of compliance risks and issues.
- Provide support to the underwriting team on compliance matters.
- Assist in the training and development of staff on compliance issues.
- Support ad-hoc projects as required.
Conducts checks on our developers conforming to our consumer code.
Requirements:
- A strong understanding of regulatory requirements, particularly those related to the FCA.
- Experience in a compliance or risk management role within the financial services industry.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- CII General Insurance qualifications preferred but not essential.
- Minimum grade ‘C’ GCSE for Maths and English preferred.
