High Value Home Insurance with ABC+ Warranty
High Value Home Insurance protects homes, contents and possessions that sit beyond the limits of a standard household policy. It covers the building itself, your contents, and valuable items such as fine art, antiques, jewellery, watches and wine collections, under one policy tailored to how you live in and use the property.
At ABC+ Warranty, we arrange high value home and contents cover for high-value homes, listed buildings, estates, second homes and property portfolios, sourcing bespoke cover from leading insurers, backed by AXA Insurance, to suit the home and the collection you need to protect.
What High Value Home Insurance covers
A high value policy is built around the full value of your home and everything in it, rather than the fixed limits and single-item caps found on most standard home insurance. Cover can include:
- Buildings cover: Protects the structure of your home against fire, flood, storm, theft and malicious damage, based on a rebuild value that reflects its size, construction and any specialist materials or craftsmanship
- Contents cover: Protects furniture, furnishings and personal belongings at a level that matches their true replacement value
- Valuables and collections: Covers fine art, antiques, jewellery, watches and wine collections, with items listed and valued individually where required
- Specialist assets: Cover can also be arranged for high-value possessions such as yachts and aircraft
Cover levels depend on the value and construction of your home, what you keep in it, and how the property is occupied.

What counts as a high net worth home?
There’s no single threshold used across the insurance market to define a high net worth home. Each insurer sets its own criteria, usually based on the rebuild value of the property, the total value of its contents, and the value of individual items such as jewellery, watches or art.
As a general rule, if your home is larger or more complex to rebuild than a typical property, or if any of your possessions would exceed the single-item limits on a standard policy, high net worth home insurance is likely to be the better fit.
Our team can review your current cover and tell you where the gaps are.
FAQ
The cost of a policy depends on the rebuild value of your home, its age and construction, whether it’s listed, and where it’s located. The total value of your contents, the number and value of individually listed items, and the security measures in place at the property also factor into the price, as does how often the property is occupied.

Listed buildings and estates can be covered. Because they often require specialist materials and craftsmanship to repair, rebuild values are assessed accordingly. Listed properties are covered in more depth through our Listed Building Insurance.
Second homes and holiday homes can be included in your cover. If a property is going to stand empty for an extended period, it’s covered through our Unoccupied Property Insurance.
Yes. Jewellery, watches, fine art, antiques and wine collections can be included within your High Value Home Insurance, alongside your buildings and contents cover.
Standard home insurance applies fixed limits to contents and individual items, which can leave high-value possessions underinsured. A high value policy is built around the actual value of your home and belongings, with valuable items listed and covered individually where required.
High Value Home Insurance covers homeowners whose property, contents or possessions are worth more than a standard home insurance policy is designed to protect. It brings buildings, contents and valuables together under one tailored policy.
