Whilst the country prepared for the opening of the London Olympic Games we surged ahead with the launch of the new Architects Certificate Website. This will include many new features such as:
A new Meet the Team feature, this allows you to see the profile for every employee within the company. This includes the RMS’s that work within your area.
New photo gallery pages that showcase on-going and completed projects, these are a work in progress and will be constantly updated as projects advance.
Many updates to the technical information on the website to reflect current company policy and procedure, and related building industry news and articles.
New theme, layout and logos to reflect the changes and improvements within the company.
This month also brought the appointment of Phil Ward RIBA as Technical Audit Supervisor. Phil is one of our RMSs who runs an architectural practice and covers Leeds and the North. His new position adds an additional level of quality control that ensures the highest level of service to the client.
Architects Certificate is now actively recruiting RMSs in certain areas of the UK, please check the architectscertificate.co.uk for details of the counties in which we are seeking surveyors.
This month also brings about the launch of the Architects Certificate Facebook and Twitter Pages. These will act like a blog, we will constantly update these pages to provide updates via social networks. This method of communication will also allow for interaction with clients and colleagues. These pages can be accessed from the homepage of the website, alternatively from Twitter Feed and Facebook Page.
In the June newsletter we talked about a project in Penymynydd, North Wales. At the time of the last newsletter the concrete for the floating raft foundations had been poured, upon our last inspection the timber frame had been constructed and steel wind bracing had been installed.
The above picture shows just how much progress has been made in less than a month, this project involved the construction of two dwellings, the second of which is situated just behind the one pictured. the picture below shows how much the interior of the building has developed in such a short space of time. this shows the steel beams and the timber lattice ceiling joists.
This concludes the July edition of the Architects Certificate Newsletter, stay tuned for next months edition for more news and updates and don’t forget to like our official Facebook page and Follow us on Twitter.
