Coronavirus COVID (19) Professional Inspection protocol |
|
We thank you for your continued support and understanding and the safety of our clients and our Surveyors are of paramount importance to us.
To
enable us to safely carry out inspections for your building project, we must
insist that the following guidelines are strictly adhered to:-
- Our
Surveyors will call you on the morning of our scheduled inspection and you must
inform them if anyone who is, or, who has been, recently working on your
building site and showing symptoms of
COVID (19). If so, our inspection will be rescheduled for a different future
date.
- All
individuals and site workers to kindly vacate the property/building site to
enable our Surveyors to remain at least 2m apart from any other individual and
to be able to access all areas of the property whilst being able to move around
the property freely.
- Please leave
all external and internal doors open to reduce the need for our Surveyors to
touch door handles, this includes but not limited to cupboards underneath a
kitchen sinks when checking for items such as satisfactory plumbing works or
boilers concealed behind kitchen/housing units.
- Loft
hatches should be left open to allow for easy visual inspection of the internal
roof structure and for easy checking for adequate insulation to roof spaces.
- Our
Surveyors will be wearing gloves during their inspection and where possible,
they will be avoid touching handles or work surfaces.
- If there
is a particular section of the property that our Surveyors are not able to
access, you will be notified and required to submit photographs and or video
footage of those particular items/areas.
- If these
conditions of our inspections are compromised in any way, we reserve the right
to charge you for an additional inspection to take place at a later date.
- If our
Surveyors notice any site workers that are not adhering to the social
distancing measures, we will notify the site manager and we will be keeping a
record of this information which could be made available to the Authorities if
requested.
We will continue to keep you
up to date with any further changes to these guidelines.
If you have any queries or
concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us and a member of our team will be
happy to assist you.
We thank you for helping us
to keep the construction industry active and safe.
Yours sincerely
